Moving On: Getting Back to Normal After a Break-Up
A break-up is painful at any stage of life and can bring with it feelings of depression and emptiness. And while this kind of heartbreak is a simple fact of growing up, the pain is temporary and can even serve to make teens stronger, more fully-formed individuals. This booklet offers ways for teens to acknowledge and accept a break-up healthily in sections entitled: “Put some distance between yourself and your ex,” “Tell trusted friends or adults how you are really feeling,” “Take care of your body,” “Avoid alcohol,” and “Recovery is happening ... even when it doesn’t feel so.”
